It makes for some fun deckbuilding and lets you use some cards together that dont normally fit, but that otherwise synergize

There are a whole host of more affordable, but still awesome, cards you can find on the secondary market for a few dollars each

I'll be keeping an eye on the price of this card

Rick was played in Legacy for a time (and still sees some play today as a one or two of), but is more widely popular in Commander, where players arent too hot on including a random guy in a jacket and jeans in their Soldier typal decks that otherwise comprise armored, sword wielding folks
