While its always nice to cast a huge Finale of Devastation, theres still plenty of value to be had in casting this spell for a smaller number to pull out important creatures for the sake of value or as part of a combo
There's no limit on the number of ongoing schemes you can have face up in your command zone, and having one or more ongoing schemes in your command zone doesn't stop you from setting a scheme in motion at the beginning of your first main phase
Back in the early days of the Magic game, any card that could conceivably have a drawback was shunned like the devil
Part of the reason I am looking to cut the Emrakul in my next build of this is because I think I can just ride the Wolf Run in those games where I need a super game ending card
While it wasn't the best against a creature based strategy, it usually was good enough to at least gain the caster back the one card spent casting the enchantment in the first place
We could add some token makers like any of the Saheeli planeswalkers, or Sharding Sphinx
