The new frost-themed card art is sublime, and it's undeniably a particularly cosy expansion before we look ahead to the highly anticipated Wilds Unknown expansion in May, featuring fan favorite Pixar characters for the first time
On the other end of things, original games such as Flesh and Blood have earned respect among hardcore trading card game enthusiasts looking for an alternative to Magic: The Gathering, but dont necessarily have the familiar characters and welcoming gameplay simplicity needed to bring in brand new players to the world of TCGs
Uncommons: Coconut Basket, Mother Knows Best, and Sven Official Ice Deliverer Rare or above: Mickey Mouse Miskateer (Rare), and Stitch Abomination (Rare) Foil: Sergeant Tibbs Courageous Cat (Common) This is a pretty standard pack, only containing 2 rares and a common foil
There are three starter decks available for purchase as part of the first set of cards, called The First Chapter, but for players looking to create a deck that caters to their own play style, or favorite characters or are just looking to mix it up and try something new, crafting a new deck is worth the time
The deck additionally features a number of acceleration spells including mana rocks (Chromatic Lantern, Gilded Lotus, Arcane Signet, Blitzball, Commander's Sphere, Sol Ring) to help accelerate out your spells and allow you to cast them ahead of curve, as well as removal spells and counter effects (many of which are costed to trigger Y'shtola) to deal with your opponent's largest threats
