Generally it completely breaks the meta and helps to keep things fresh
They really get back to the basics, and for kids in particular I think they are an effective way to focus not on what Trample does, what Fly does, and so forth but on the REAL way to play the game
Where Thrumming Stone really performs is when it's played with cards like Rat Colony, which you can include any number of in a deck
Its also kind of hilarious, in a way that most actual infinite damage loops simply arent
