KATADYN Ersatz Aktivkohle Combi Filter 2x Nachfüllpack Trinkwasser Wasserfilter Reispfanne The wheel flap features two2x activated carbon refill packs for the Katadyn Combi Filter. Activated carbon is used for its reducing effect on organic, inorganic, and harmful substances in water. It reduces taste and odor contaminants, as well as chlorine, pesticides (lindane, DDT), and trihalomethanes (THMs). The substances are adsorbed by the large surface area of the activated carbon. Once fully loaded, the activated carbon can no longer be regenerated and must be replaced.
