He is 14"/36cm tall and has short pile dark fawn mohair (it is slightly darker than it shows on the photos)

The other golden bear was made by the same company. So many times this type of bear labelled as American. It is almost impossible to identify many bears because they were produced in massive quantities by hundreds of manufactures (many short lived) so it is sometimes better not to try to guess at the maker of some bruins.
