#24650 - Victorian Sterling Tureen with Platter c1850 "Works of Art" These striking one-of-a-kind blue-on-blue earringsDatemarked 1850, Sterling, by James Dixon & Son, Sheffield England. This tureen and underplate is a superb example of early Victorian British sterling. Beautifully designed, it features an acorn finial, heavily beaded edges, gadrooned edging, fabulous rolled handles, and a gorgeous coat of arms. Heavy and well made, it is both decorative and perfect for service. Excellent condition.
