Anders Shafer - The Generous French Master Boating Oil on BoardCamile Corot (1796 1875) was known to have signed paintings for other less famous artist so they could charge more therefore was known as the "generous French master". In my fictional story, he is approached by a poor nomadic man for help because his daughter is ill. Corot gives him the painting he is working on so he can get a doctor's services. Years later Corot returns to the scene and finds the girl dancing.
