Our Original Bumbu is based on the original recipe created by 16th and 17th century sailors of the West Indies

This was a very limited release and was scored very highly by critics at the time

The tannins and acidity are medium plus and balance quite well with the fruits

The nose reveals rye grass and burnt sugar with hintsof vanilla

The original whiskey was distilled between 1990 and 1993. The mash bill consists of 86% corn, 6% rye and 8% malted barley, barreled at 62. 5% ABV (125 proof). This was the mash bill used by the Bernheim distillery.
