Christmas Cards I've long had an attraction

I've long had an attraction to common bricks that have been battered and smoothed over by the sand and the current of the water

And then another

the Billy Joe Shaver song "I'm Just an Old Chunk of Coal" came to mind

I had amassed quite a stash and was able to make them the focus of an entire piece laid out on a black paperboard

even with everything else happening on the page
