The silk kaftan has its origins in the ancient Middle East. Initially worn by nobility and elites in the Ottoman Empire, the garment later spread into various cultures, spanning North Africa and Central Asia. In Morocco, the kaftan became renowned for its intricate designs and opulent fabrics, initially symbolizing status and
